About the event

The purpose of the summer series is to bring quality training for the latest, cutting edge digital data research methods and modes of analyses to our students and faculty members in the sociology department and the wider VCU community.  Our goal includes bringing visibility and spur recruitment to our Digital Sociology Master’s Program, our department, and the university.  Aligning with our mission to VCU: Make It Real Initiative, these courses bring participants together to learn using a hands-on collaborative approach that they can easily apply to their academic and professional careers.
